Jefferson County SARA and Safety Summit

We invite area businesses and schools to join us for our Jefferson County SARA and Safety Summit on Monday, September 12. Registration will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., and the seminar will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We will be discussing safety measures including, but not limited to, active shooter events, keeping schools and our communities safe, hazardous material responses, cybersecurity, and much more.

The Jeff Tech culinary program will provide a continental breakfast and lunch at no cost to attendees. This event is free to all attendees. We encourage the business sector and schools to attend, however, the event is open to everyone with a willingness to be ready.  

Speakers to include:

  • James Warwick, Ed.D. - S3G Security
  • Brian Feist - Hazardous Materials and Emergency Response Coordinator, McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc.
  • Craig Kinley - Operations Supervisor, McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc.
  • Robert Winters - Protective Security Advisor, DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency
  • Garret Hansen - DHS Department of Homeland Security
